FAQs
Is Sojurnr ultralight backpacking gear actually designed for women?
Our anatomically angled, adjustable hipbelt is shaped for the angle of a women’s hips and a lower center of gravity, helping prevent digging, slipping, or pressure points. It adjusts across a range of hip widths for a secure, comfortable carry.
Our S-curve shoulder straps are built to move with your body, contouring naturally around your boobs instead of smashing down on it. They follow your natural shape, making them comfortable across different shoulder widths, torso lengths, and body types.
Who is the RESOLUTE 50–55 Backpack made for? Is it beginner-friendly?
The RESOLUTE 50–55 Backpack is designed for women who hike and backpack and want an ultralight pack that carries weight comfortably without fighting their bodies. Built for women’s anatomy, it works equally well for first-time beginner backpackers and experienced hikers.
The removable internal frame and adjustable, removable hipbelt make it easy to fine-tune the fit and comfort as you learn what works for you. From your first overnight to long miles on the trail, the RESOLUTE 50–55 is designed to grow with you.
What makes Sojurnr different from other ultralight brands?
We design with women first. We prioritize fit, comfort, and high-visibility colorways for safety.
And we’re here to help women, especially women of color, take up space outdoors.
Why does the pack have so many pockets? That adds so much extra weight.
We design for real use. Most women care more about organization and convenience than squeezing out every-single-extra-gram from their pack weight, especially since we need extra gear for things like peeing in the woods or managing our periods.
Being a “gram-weenie” is usually more of a guy thing. We focus on smart organization without unnecessary bulk.
What's the difference between traditional backpacking vs 'ultralight backpacking?'
Traditional backpackers typically carry heavier loads for campsite comfort, but the weight adds up. Ultralight backpackers go lighter, moving faster, feeling better, and keeping things simple.
Think hiking 20 miles with 20 pounds of gear versus hiking 20 miles with 40.
Your pack is not under 2 pounds, can it really be called ultralight?
Ultralight backpacking is all about packing as light and minimal as possible while staying safe and comfortable in the wild.
For most women, it’s not just having a pack that is lightweight, it’s having the right structure that makes all their gear "feel" lightweight.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only.
If it doesn't work for me can I return it?
Yes. You may return your pack for a refund within six (6) months of purchase, or one year for Kickstarter orders, as long as it shows no visible signs of wear or use. Shipping costs are not included.
Please include a copy of your original receipt to help us process your return quickly.
Do you have plans for a men's version?
Right now, we’re focused solely on designing for women and their outdoor gear needs since most outdoor gear has traditionally been made with men in mind.
